2013, goodbye to Maybach production!
Daimler group is going to stop production of Maybach cars in 2013. That's what Dieter Zetsche (CEO of Daimler group) said in an interview that will be released tomorrow. The main reason is because they will be concentrated on the new Mercedes S Class and the target to increase its sales. There's more sense to put more efforts to increase the sales in the luxury S Class than in the creation or the sale of the actual Maybach cars, which have always been below the expectations. There were many rumors in time, but now it's official, Maybach will stop the production in 2013. Good to hear about the 150 workers of Maybach that will doesn't lose their job, they will keep working in Daimler group.
To be honest, i have never been a fan of Maybach cars, the base is taken from the Mercedes S Class and it looks very similar, i would rather take a Rolls Royce Ghost. Here below a video i took to an extravagant Maybach 57 i took this summer.

RIP Sergio Scaglietti
A few days ago, at the age of 91, Sergio Scaglietti il passed away. We was a very close friend and collaborator of Enzo Ferrari. In 1951 he opened the Carrozzeria Scaglietti workshop, it's the start of a relationship of work with Ferrari.
He's famous for the making of some of the most beautiful Ferraris, such as the Ferrari 250 GT California (one of my fav cars ever)...
...the Ferrari 250 GTO, one of the most expensive and apreciated classic cars..
.. the Ferrari 750 Monza, a true racercar..
..and many others. In 2003 Ferrari wants to dedicate him a Ferrari under the name of 612 Scaglietti.
It's a great lost for all of us in the world of motorsport, an important part of our motorsport is passed away. Ciao Sergio.

6-Speed manual Ferrari California!
Today, the flappy paddle gearbox is a must for every supercar, you get the F1 feeling while driving and you change gear faster, and if you're a track-fanatic you will find the performance are alot better. The F1 gearbox has been introduced for the first on the Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta in 1997. Today almost every supercar has an F1 gearbox, and i think the fun and passion for the manual gearbox is missing. There's almost no more request for this gearbox and car manufacturers aren't even offering them anymore. Just a few examples, manual gearbox is not available on the new Ferrari FF or Lamborghini Aventador.
What i want to show you today are some rare pics i've just found on Ferrarichat, featuring 3 Ferrari California with manual gearbox. In 2010 Ferrari has sold thousands of Californias, you want to know how many of them with a proper clutch pedal? Just 6!!

Spada Codatronca Monza - 720bhp New Supercar
This is my new video about the Spada Codatronca Monza, a supercar built with italian passion and american heart. The car is made by italian company Spada but it's based on the Corvette Z06. The engine is a 7.0L V8 producing the incredible amount of 720bhp and 920nm, that's enough for moving it from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3s and a top speed of 340 km/h. The car has been presented in April 2011 during the Top Marques Monaco show. Actually, this is the only one in the world and it could be yours for 200k euros.

292km/h in V12 Vantage + busted
This is a video i have seen a long time ago. But just a few days ago this video became so popular because the driver in the video has been stopped, and now his driving license could be suspended, he risks also a huge fine and his V12 Vantage Carbon Black to be confiscated. Indeed, video shows the driver behind the Aston driving up to 292km/h on dutch highway, he sais that's just 1 of 3 Carbon Black edition in Belgium, so it's kinda easy for police to find him. And this is the main reason why you don't see in my videos cars speeding on public streets.. If you want to go fast, go on a racetrack.

900th video - A dream ride with Valentino Balboni
First of all, i want to say thanks to everyone who support my channel, i can't believe this is my 900th video uploaded to YouTube! That's a huge amount of videos and effort i put to create content in over 5 years.
For my 900th video i really wanted to take a special video, last weekend i went to Monza and as i saw Valentino i have not hesitated to propose him to take a video with him. Valentino is such a kind and open man, it was very exciting and unbelievable for me to sit next to him in a Lambo!
It has been for sure one of the most special ride i have ever had on a supercar, thanks Valentino for the special day i spent on track with you!!
I was also very lucky because a friend of mine took a picture while Valentino was on track, he caught the right moment when i was inside with him, that's a nice souvenir photo for the day :)

2 Crashed Ferrari Enzo
This is a video i took about 2 years ago in a Ferrari workshop in North Italy. I would have never expected to see not one, but two Ferrari Enzos, both seriously damaged! Technicians told me both Enzos had about 300k euros of damages.
