Bugatti Veyron Launch!

The Bugatti Veyron is a very expensive car to buy, keep and drive, so that's why watching one attempting a launch with all the 4 smoking tires is a very rare scene! This is certainly a pretty expensive launch, the gearbox costs 170.000 $ and a new set of tires 42.000 $. Rumors are about this Veyron to produce an incredible 1500hp, not sure if this is true but the exhaust is certainly tuned.

McLaren 12C on a drag strip

We don't have doubts about the performance of the McLaren 12C, but it's impossible not to be surprised about this recent accomplishment on a drag strip. A completely standard 12C fitted with option light wheels, sports exhaust and carbon ceramic brakes has set a very impressive time of 10.55 seconds @ 134.56mph in the classic quarter mile, and it means that it's the second quickest road production car in the world (the record holder is still the Bugatti Veyron).

To refresh your mind, the 12C has received several upgrades over the years and now its 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine produces 616hp and 599nm, pretty surprising to know that it has beaten also the record of the Lamborghini Aventador with nearly 100hp more and the 4WD, as you know the perfect feature for a quick launch.

Let's get to the point, this happens when you enrage the Bull, and you better be not on his way. A parking lot and the 700hp of the Lamborghini Aventador look to be a good mix to trash the tires!

Lamborghini LP570-4 STS Launch Control!

A very useful button that you find nowadays on most supercars is the launch control feature. If used properly, it allows the fastest acceleration from standstill, but if you push too much the throttle you will take off with the tires screeching and sliding, which is not really a negative thing because it's FUN! In the following  video we can see a red Lamborghini LP570-4 SuperTrofeo Stradale using this feature, love to see it accelerating in this way! Unfortunately we don't get to see supercars doing these things so often because launch control is not healthy for the tires and the clutch.

Reventon vs GT-R vs 1098!

Once again, the guys at The BHP Project managed to take a fantastic video with the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster and a few other very fast vehicles, the Nissan GT-R and the Ducati 1098. What would you do with these 3 rockets and a 2.5 mile runaway? A drag race of course, but who's gonna win?

Ferrari 599 Crazy Launch

I'm always excited when my friends at Exclusivos No Brazil show me the previews of their upcoming videos. In Brazil there's not much cops so they can easily make crazy things with supercars such as in the following video where they burn some rubber of a Ferrari 599 GTB in the interstate.
