A Ferrari 458 V6? Because REPLICA!

I'm not a fan of replicas, but I admit this one is very well done. For £35.000 you can fool most pedestrians and drive around town in a replica of a Ferrari 458 based on a Ford Cougar. Forget the performance and engine of the real supercar, this replica hides in the front a 2.5L V6 that produces a not-so-exciting 168hp, with an even less impressive 0-60 mph sprint in 8.6s and a top speed of 140 mph.

A Ferrari Enzo replica for sale

Most of us dream to own a supercar someday, but what if it's too expensive for our pockets? Take for example the Ferrari Enzo, which now cost around €1m. Are replicas a good compromise if you can't afford a supercar, but you want people to make turn their heads when you drive? On Ebay I've found out a replica of the Ferrari Enzo, which is 25 times cheaper than an original one.

Overall I have to say that it looks nicely done and it has even a V12 BMW engine, but of course a petrolhead would recognize the cheat in a second, is it a bargain for 40.000€, or for that price you would rather buy for example a brand new Lotus Elise, or even a second hand Ferrari F355?

Ferrari 430 Scuderia... Replica!

A Ferrari 430 Scuderia with a 2.5L V6 engine instead of a 4.3 V8 is something strange, especially if it's in the front. During a car event, a fake Ferrari 430 Scuderia showed up, there were even curious people around the car, certainly because it's a very well done replica based on a Ford Cougar, but it's still a fake Ferrari. Just wondering why people spend alot of money to make a replica (trust me, good replicas are expensive) instead of buying a second hand sport car.
