Quattroporte owner damages his own car

It's not really the first time that we use to see something like this, but it looks like that in China, angry supercar owners prefer to smash their cars on public rather than risolve the dispute with their manifacturer. This time, the owner of a 423.000$ (yes, car taxes are huuuge in China) Maserati Quattroporte had an issue  with Maserati China and his dealership. His car after a wreck has been repaired by replacing the parts with again used and not brand new parts, and of course they charged him the service. Enraged, he decided to hire four people and hammers in order to smash his Quattroporte in front of Qingdao International Auto Show, a very strategic place to have a big media coverage.

Maserati Quattroporte gets vandalized

A day of celebration has ended into a riot in the city of Paris. Just a couple of days ago the local football team Paris Saint-Germain has won for the second time in a row the national football championship and just like most time happens, the excuse to go out and celebrate turns out into a pretext to destroy everything you find. Over the day there have been a riot in the city and struggles against the police, and that's why I'm gonna show you how some vandals (hard to call them football enthusiasts) took aim to a Maserati Quattroporte by destroying the side mirror, the windshield and the side glasses.

Maserati Quattroporte HEARSE!

Passing away.. with style? This is actually what every petrolhead would want to use to make their last trip, by riding for the last time a noisy and fast saloon car such as the Maserati Quattroporte converted into an Hearse!

Barbie's new garage?

Some people just have a huge lack of taste, and often the desire to overdo and get noticed bring to an awful, final result. The chrome pink Nissan GT-R might good for Barbie, but the Quattroporte looks awful to me, a wrap like that on an executive italian sedan means that the owner is everything but a person with good taste, but the good thing is that it's just a chrome vinyl wrap, so when the owner will be bored of this result, he can change and restore the original look easily.

Behind the scenes: the new Quattroporte

Maserati has released this very interesting video recorded before the debut of the new Quattroporte, and it shows a night testing session at Balocco Proving Ground. Particularly, the session was focused on testing the top speed and the sound of the car without any camouflage and you can hear chief test driver Fabrizio Galvan talking about how the new Quattroporte is so different, if compared to the previous one.

The new Maserati Quattroporte features a brand new 3.8L twin turbo V8 that produces 530hp, enough to move it from 0 to 100kph in 4.7s and able to accelerate up to 307kph; soon it will be available also with a smaller twin turbo V6 engine with 410hp.

2013 Maserati Quattroporte on the road

The 6th generation of the Maserati Quattroporte has been filmed in the spanish streets while testing. The car shows a camouflage, though the official pics of the final car have been released in November. Maserati hasn't revealed yet the power of the new Quattroporte, but in this testing car we hear a lovely noise from a possible V8 engine, and a quick double clutch transmission.

I had the opportunity to film a few over the year while testing in Italy at Fiorano, Ferrari's private test track.

The italians are back, with the 6th generation of the Maserati Quattroporte, a new, fresh answer to the big market dominated by the german saloon cars. The new Quattroporte is based on a new chassis, if compared to the previous Quattroporte, it will be longer and 50kg lighter (1940kg). The specs aren't yet revealed, but rumors are about a 4.7L V8 Ferrari engine, and as the plate could suggest, with 530hp. In the future, a diesel version could be considered. The world debut of the new Maserati Quattroporte has been set during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, in January.

Maserati Quattroporte by CDC International

People are talking in these days about the new tuning package to the Maserati Quattroporte that is offered by german tuner called CDC International. Now the italian super-sedan undergoes a massive transformation both in the exterior and interior. In the exterior by the use of new aerodynamic elements such as the new front bumper, a carbon diffuser, the side skirts, 22 inch wheels and a little carbon spoiler. These elements give the Quattroporte a sporty look and certainly doesn't go unnoticed.
