Very Close Call
It doesn't happen often to survive to an high speed crash, but the following video shows how the driver of a racing truck crashes at 118mph, and incredibly, even if with many injuries, he survives. The protagonist of this close call is Diumar Bueno, driver of the Brazilian Formula Truck Series. He was coming at high speed from the main straight when the brakes of the truck stopped to work. He drove into the grass trying to slow the vehicle, but it crashes against the barriers and ends the drive in the vegetation below.

A new record at Nürburgring
The power of lightness. Light cars with a good amount of power are little rockets on wheels that can compete with the most expensive and fast supercars, thanks to the favorable power/weight ratio, a few examples are the Ariel Atom and the Lotus Exige. There's a new car in the market that has set a remarkable lap time around Nürburgring, point of reference for the automotive factories from all around the world. The little Formula Ford, moved with a tiny turbocharged 3cyl engine with 205hp has set a very fast lap time of 7 minutes and 22 seconds, making it alot faster than supercars (and even hypercars!) such as the Ferrari Enzo, Nissan GT-R or the Porsche 997 GT2 RS.

A very intense day for Williams F1
Today has been a day full of action and emotions for team Williams F1. After 8 years a new victory has arrived, thanks to the south american racing driver Pastor Maldonado that sat for his first time on the highest step of the podium. The result of today is motivating for the whole team and sir Frank Williams, it shows also that this team is growing and the car is going well.
The joy of this important result has been suddendly stopped due to a huge fire that took place in Williams' F1 box. The fire has been caused by a malfunction of the KERS system of Bruno Senna's F1, within a few minutes burning everything was inside the box. Looks like five technicians have been injured, the material damages caused by the fire are large, a victory that leaves a bad taste in mouth.
In the following videos you can see the exact moment of the accident and the team that is trying to extinguish :
