Everyone know the engine we find in the new generation of the Porsche 911 is water cooled, but this owner is taking things too seriously, or perhaps he thought his car was also a good boat. The protagonist of this accident is the wet chinese man you see laying on the bonnet of his Porsche that is floating in a lake in the city of Jinan.

BMW M3 nearly crashes into a GT3
Even if you are a talented or careful driver, the Nürburgring is still a dangerous track for anybody because if you're good enough not to make mistakes or crash by yourself, there's anyway the risk to be involved in an accident, as you can see in the following video.

Porsche 911 Turbo S 0-333 kph
The german guys at Sport Auto have pushed to the limit the new Porsche 991 Turbo S, which is a very impressive car on the straight line! Its 3.8L twin turbo flat six produces 560hp and with launch control mode, the sprint of the Turbo S is even faster than a Lamborghini Aventador or a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta!

Hear the Porsche 991 GT2 on track
With the recent introduction of the new Porsche 911 Turbo and GT3 versions, the 991 family is getting bigger, but it's not all. It looks like this is going to be a good year if you're planning to buy a track car, Ferrari is developing the hardcore version of the 458, mean while the german engineers are preparing to introduce a very spicy version, the new GT2.

Porsche GT2 Heavily crashes
The Porsche 997 GT2 is a truly beasty track car and it's not easy to handle, you really need good driving skills, and if you want to push it hard at the Nürburgring, you better know what you're doing. It's not the case of this driver which you're going to see crashing his GT2 at Flugplatz.

Don't mess with the Carrera GT!
A legendary Porsche meeting the fastest 911 ever at Nürburgring means just one thing.. race! The Porsche Carrera GT is still one of the best Porsches ever made and has similar numbers, compared to the Porsche 911 GT2 RS (612hp the V10 of the GT, 620hp the flat-six of the RS), they have something else in common, they're two difficult cars to drive, the GT is a real beast to tame!
Start to see the video from minute 27:00, that's where the GT meets the RS and the battle begins, until the driver of the GT2 RS reaches his limits and spins out, but with a huge luck he doesn't crashes into the barriers which happens most of the times if you crash at the Green Hell since the guard rail is just a meter far from the tarmac of the track.
And the lesson of today is: don't ever try to keep up a Carrera GT, just turn down the window and enjoy that heck of a V10 sound!

GT-R vs GT3 RS 4.0
Once again, the guys at m5boarddotcom have managed to compare side by side two great rivals, the Nissan GT-R and the Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0. The Porsche looks stock, the Nissan is slighty modified and this time the 4WD is a huge help. In a standstill start all we know who would win without a doubt, but the guys are racing with a rolling start.. so, will the Porsche have a chance?

Porsche 997 GT2 nearly crashes 3 times
It's good to see people that want to satisfy their need for speed on track instead of public roads. However, if you can't drive properly your supercar, you're still a danger even for the other drivers on track, and this onboard video shows a man with very little driving skills nearly crashing 3 times with a Porsche 997 GT2, which is not really the easiest car to drive. It's worrying to see how the driver holds the elbow outside the window just like a city cruise and grasps the a-pillar as the rear of the car slides. This guy definitely needs a good track driving course, and a much easier and safer car to drive.

Brutal Porsche GT3 RS crash
When I drove for the 1st time at Nürburgring, the thing that has impressed me more, was the lack of view of the upcoming parts of the track, you keep driving fast but you never know what's coming in the next corner, and with the low amount of marshals around the track, you really know why this racetrack is so dangerous, as you can see in the following clip. At Bergwerk, which is a blind corner, a Porsche 996 GT3 RS arrives at around 190km/h but there's nobody able to warn him about the several cars blocking the track because of an accident. On the trajectory of the crash there's also a dangerous oil slick; too late for the Porsche driver to do something, the car spins out and ends his lap against a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.

Challenging parking with the Porsche
Porsche owners, now you have a good excuse if you're not good at parking your car! Behind the wheel of this 991 Carrera S we find Mark Lieb, a german Porsche racing driver, and with a great difficulty he tries (but fails) to do a parallel parking. But there's a reason for that..

Fast as Hell
Take the ultimate german track car in the ultimate racetrack, give it to an expert racing driver, fit it with sport track tires and a couple of cameras to film the action. Dunlop has held at Nürburgring an event to show the efficiency of their new Dunlop Sport Maxx semi slick tires, and in the following video you can see a Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 fitted with these tires being driven insanely, by marking an absolutely amazing lap time under 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

991 GT3 and Turbo testing at Nurburgring
Porsche continues with massive testing of the upcoming 991 GT3 and Turbo, where else? At Nürburgring, of course. For the first time in Porsche's history, the GT3 will be available with a double clutch transmission just like the one in you can see in this video. The power output of the next generation Turbo is supposed to be around 520hp and its debut could take place at Frankfurt Motor Show, in September 2013. What about the GT3? With a possible power output of 450hp and a better handling than the previous one, the 991 GT3 will be for sure a track animal! Rumors are about its close debut at Geneva Motor Show, in March 2013.

Porsche 991 Carrera S BURNOUT
American YouTuber BrianZuk has filmed the owner of a brand new Porsche 991 Carrera S that is not showing proper love to his car, he does a series of donuts and fries the tires by hitting continuosly the rev limiter of the engine which is not a very wealthy thing for the car, but it's certainly a good entertainment for the crowd.

A Porsche 911 McLaren inspired
The american tuning company Centro 911 is author of an incredible modification made on a Porsche 997 Carrera S Convertible making it a sort of a german McLaren F1, with the result of a single center seat Porsche 911. The project took over 300 hours of work and important modifications to accomplish this result, certainly now it offers to this Porsche a truly unique driving experience!

Terrible GT2 RS Crash
A frightening accident took place in America involving a red Porsche 997 GT2 RS. The car has been crashed at 160mph (250kph) against a truck on public streets just a few hours after the delivery to the new owner. There aren't any other infos about the crash, but it's hard for me to believe that the driver is still alive, the pictures are just shocking to see.

Stolen Porsche 997 Carrera 4S
The german owner of this yellow Porsche 997 Carrera 4S must have learnt an important lesson after this; never leave your car unattended with the keys inside! While paying inside the gas station, a BMW stopped next to the Porsche, and its passenger went inside the car and drove away with the Porsche, not a very smart move for the thief (the cameras have filmed the scene) and for the unlucky owner of the Porsche.

991 GT3 Spotted
The next generation of the Porsche GT3 has been spotted while testing at Nurburgring. Rumors are talking about a possible debut within a month in Paris or in 2013 at Geneva Motor Show. There's something sure, in the video we clearly hear the PDK double clutch transmission. The track version Porsches have always been for purists with a proper manual gearbox; with the arrival of the flappy paddles gearbox in this, could it be the end of the good old fun with the clutch pedal?

Lindsay Lohan crashes her 991
It's not a new to read on the news about american actress Linday Lohan's excess and accidents. She had multiple times problems with law, drugs and alcohol. In the past she even crashed her Mercedes SL55 AMG in the streets of Beverly Hills, but the news of today reports that she has crashed her new Porsche 991 Carrera S on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica into the back of a truck. Lindsay Lohan and the passenger have been sent to the local hospital for precaution though they didn't suffered any injuries, at the contrary of the german exotic.
