Bugatti Veyron Test Drive Experience

Earlier this year, the guys at The Supercar Driver organized a trip to Molsheim, home of the Bugatti factory. One of the participants has been lucky enough to experience quick a test drive in the Bugatti Veyron and thanks to this onboard video we can experience (sort of!) how's it like to push the mighty 1001hp of the Bugatti Veyron in the highway and in the french countryside.

Maserati Ghibli - Crash Test footages

The Maserati Ghibli has succesfully passed the scrupulous crash tests of the two most important entities when it comes to safety on cars. The Ghibli has received the maximum rating of 5 stars from the european Euroncap and " Top Safety Pick " title from the american IIHS.

The upcoming Lamborghini Gallardo replacement is supposed to be unvelied in March, 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show and that means we have to wait more or less just 4 months, nothing compared to the highlander's life of the Gallardo!

Action POV with the Pagani Huayra

So, this is probably how the 99,9% of us will get to experience so close the feel to be in the driving seat of the Pagani Huayra! This spectacular first view video shows us Pagani's chief test driver Davide Testi behind the wheel of Pagani's factory Huayra (refreshed with a new golden wrap) being driven like no other could do on track!

LaFerrari testing at the Nürburgring!

Does the LaFerrari wants to join the exclusive sub-7 minutes club of the Nürburgring? It would be exciting if Ferrari joins the battle between McLaren and Porsche to make the best lap time of the fastest street legal car, but I guess the technicians of Maranello are driving the car at the Green Hell for other reasons, the car is not yet ready and for this reason Ferrari has delaied the production to 2014, mean while both productions of the P1 and 918 Spyder have started this month.

2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo spied

What you see here is the 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo caught on camera during a session of testing at Nürburgring.. where else? After 6 years and several facelifts, " Godzilla " is still on the market and before the presumed successor to come in 2015, Nissan wants to improve the car and with a rumored 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2 seconds, the GT-R Nismo might be the fastest as well as the most powerful road going model that Nissan has ever produced, and it really looks as fast as we can imagine from this video!

Jay Leno drives the McLaren P1

No wonder many people wish to be Jay Leno. First of all, because he's a genuine petrolhead with a dream garage and second, because he's the first person outside McLaren to drive their latest hybrid hypercar, the P1.

You can really tell by Fernando Alonso's serious face that this is just another boring day at the office for him, but hey.. someone has to do it!

Porsche 918 Spyder spotted at Nürburgring

The production of the well known Porsche 918 Spyder starts in September, mean while the engineers keep developing and improving the german hypercar all around the world. Last week I had the opportunity to film six of them on the French Coast and now another testing mule has been spotted while lapping quickly the infamous Nürburgring.

Alfa Romeo 4C at Balocco

Alfa Romeo has released a new official video regarding the 4C in motion. Although the marketing guys of Alfa Romeo had the brilliant idea to let us hear some music instead of the real noise of the engine, at least we can see the 4C moving quickly and sideways around Fiat's Balocco test track.

Hear the Porsche 991 GT2 on track

With the recent introduction of the new Porsche 911 Turbo and GT3 versions, the 991 family is getting bigger, but it's not all. It looks like this is going to be a good year if you're planning to buy a track car, Ferrari is developing the hardcore version of the 458, mean while the german engineers are preparing to introduce a very spicy version, the new GT2.

McLaren P1 - The testing continues

The McLaren P1 is limited to 375 units with a price tag of $1.1m  and of course the whole production is completely sold out. The first deliveries will start in just two months and in the mean time the british company is about to end the final testing and developing processes for the production vehicle. McLaren has released an official video regarding a test session somewhere in Scandinavia involving the P1 with a camo wrap and snow.. a lot of snow. What you can do with 916hp and a slippery surface? The McLaren test driver certainly had good fun!

Fast as Hell

Take the ultimate german track car in the ultimate racetrack, give it to an expert racing driver, fit it with sport track tires and a couple of cameras to film the action. Dunlop has held at Nürburgring an event to show the efficiency of their new Dunlop Sport Maxx semi slick tires, and in the following video you can see a Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 fitted with these tires being driven insanely, by marking an absolutely amazing lap time under 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

The Ferrari F430 reviewed

The Ferrari F430 has set a benchmark in the Ferrari's history, it replaced the Ferrari 360 and it was much better under every point of view. It's incredible that the production started in 2004, and after 9 years I think that it's still one of the best modern Ferraris ever made. My good friend Leone Andreta at Exclusivos No Brasil has reviewed the F430 and the result is a truly awesome video. Don't worry, english subtitles are included!

991 GT3 and Turbo testing at Nurburgring

Porsche continues with massive testing of the upcoming 991 GT3 and Turbo, where else? At Nürburgring, of course. For the first time in Porsche's history, the GT3 will be available with a double clutch transmission just like the one in you can see in this video. The power output of the next generation Turbo is supposed to be around 520hp and its debut could take place at Frankfurt Motor Show, in September 2013. What about the GT3? With a possible power output of 450hp and a better handling than the previous one, the 991 GT3 will be for sure a track animal! Rumors are about its close debut at Geneva Motor Show, in March 2013.

McLaren P1 spotted again!

The McLaren P1 has been spotted once again while testing, but this times the spies at Worldcarfans managed to take a few shoots of the interior and the car leaving a good exhaust note driving around the spanish streets.

2013 Maserati Quattroporte on the road

The 6th generation of the Maserati Quattroporte has been filmed in the spanish streets while testing. The car shows a camouflage, though the official pics of the final car have been released in November. Maserati hasn't revealed yet the power of the new Quattroporte, but in this testing car we hear a lovely noise from a possible V8 engine, and a quick double clutch transmission.

I had the opportunity to film a few over the year while testing in Italy at Fiorano, Ferrari's private test track.

McLaren P1 filmed on the road

Finally we manage to hear the sound of the upcoming McLaren P1. A developtment mule has been spotted near Barcelona while testing, McLaren hasn't revealed yet what's under the hood, but now we know that it certainly sounds very good!

SLS Black Series Test Mule on fire

Recently a testing mule of the upcoming Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series caught on fire at Nürburgring, the main place where nowadays most of the automotive factories test their cars. The accident took place in the main straight during an hard testing session, pretty dangerous location if you consider in that point, there are supercars that can even touch a top speed of 300kph. Luckily the driver and passenger didn't suffered any injuries.
