Here's the first LaFerrari sale speculation

The LaFerrari is an exclusive hypercar that many collectors would love to have in their garages, needless to say that all the 499 units have been sold to selected customers that haven't even seen the car before to spend over a million euros.

We've seen plenty of videos and pictures of the LaFerrari driving in town or lapping racetracks, but finally we get to hear the glorious 6.3L V12 being revved at high rpms! The author of this video was lucky enough to be invited by Ferrari to see the LaFerrari closely in their atelier and to hear one just outside the building which undoubtedly sounds ferocious!

Hear the LaFerrari testing the F1 Turbo V6

Many of you might be wondering: Ferrari, what are you testing? My guess is that the massive engine bay of the LaFerrari hides the tiny 1.6L turbocharged V6 engine we will find in the next F1 season. An airscoop shows up on the roof and talking about the exhaust note, it's totally different than the V12 we use to find on a LaFerrari and also, you clearly hear the whistle of the turbo and the wastegate.

Hard time for Ferrari. McLaren and Porsche have already started the deliveries of their top-notch hypercars, mean while at Maranello the LaFerrari is still under development and now we receive the news regarding the first LaFerrari involved in an accident.

Does the LaFerrari wants to join the exclusive sub-7 minutes club of the Nürburgring? It would be exciting if Ferrari joins the battle between McLaren and Porsche to make the best lap time of the fastest street legal car, but I guess the technicians of Maranello are driving the car at the Green Hell for other reasons, the car is not yet ready and for this reason Ferrari has delaied the production to 2014, mean while both productions of the P1 and 918 Spyder have started this month.

If you have already been to Maranello you probably know that it's possible to rent for a short time a Ferrari or even a Lamborghini (why you should do that in Maranello?!). It's a fantastic experience to tame a supercar in the streets close to the factory and this lucky chap certainly had a good time while driving an F12 Berlinetta behind a LaFerrari!

As far as we know, the production of the LaFerrari has been delaied to 2014. Ferrari's most powerful road legal car ever is not yet ready to hit the production and if you plan to visit Maranello you really have good chances to see it during one of its continuous hard testing sessions around Fiorano racetrack.

LaFerrari stopped by Police in Dubai

Recently a final production version of the LaFerrari has been spotted in the streets of Dubai. Not sure if it was there for some more testing or to be shown to potential buyers, but the car even with the camouflage didn't went unnoticed to the police. Probably it was an ordinary inspection or just an excuse to stop it to see it closely, this is the very first LaFerrari spotted after its world debut in Geneva back in March, the cops were certainly surprised to see one in the flesh!

Ferrari has released on their YouTube channel a new video regarding the LaFerrari and it shows the behind the scenes of the filming of the official video, pretty cool to see and to know that they have worked with the car in the open air and without any picture of the car being leaked before its official debut!
