Bugatti Veyron Vitesse vs Koenigsegg Agera R

The time is come and GTBoard shows for the first time an epic battle featuring two " heavyweights " of the automotive industry, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the Koenigsegg Agera R! Many of us have wondered who might be the fastest and the result is just a click away, so where would you place your bid?

New Agera R delivered

China is becoming one of the most important markets for Koenigsegg. The swedish manufacturer has shipped to China yet another bespoke Agera R, this one if finished in a lovely matte light blue paintjob with carbon highlights and a light blue interior. This one has been spotted on its way to the lucky owner at Shanghai Pudong Airport.

A special Koenigsegg at Geneva

At the contrary of the most famous automotive manufacturers such as Ferrari and Lamborghini, Koenigsegg is not a huge factory with a large production of vehicles. After 10 years since its foundation, Koenigsegg is ready to celebrate at Geneva the creation of their 100th hypercar that is called Hundra (obviously, in swedish it means " Hundred "). This special one-off Agera has a full body made of bare carbon fibre with highlights of 24-karats gold!

Koenigsegg Agera X for sale

Recently, Koenigsegg has announced the Agera Hundra, in order to celebrate the 100th Koenigsegg produced. If you hate the long waiting list for one of these swedish jewelery and want to be one of the 100 lucky customers, you may take a look on JamesList, where Mr.Korbach, the owner of german tuning company Gemballa, has put for sale his unique 2011 Koenigsegg Agera X. The car shows just 3250km on the odometer and the matte black paint has been completely repainted in 2012. The 5.0L V8 twin-turbo engine produces 940hp and 1100nm, if these numbers doesn't satisfy your need for speed, you can upgrade the car to the 1140hp of the Agera R's configuration for 180.000€, a small price compared to the 888.888€ asked for the Agera X itself!

Koenigsegg Agera S

In this video we can see a quick walkaround of the brand new Koenigsegg Agera S, in a famous workshop of Hong Kong. The Koenigsegg Agera S, is the first Agera developed particularly for the markets where the biofuels aren't available. This special fuel provides the best performance for the 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine. So, the engine of the Agera S has been modified to give its best with premium fuel, such as 93 octane for the USA, 98 or higher for Europe. With premium fuel, the Agera S produces 1030hp and 1100nm.

Insane Agera to come!

The following rendering show how a new Koenigsegg Agera will come out the swedish factory. It looks like that the chinese owner wasn't satisfied at all about the 940hp of the standard Agera. Indeed, the 5.0 V8 engine of this custom Agera will produce 1400hp! The incredible power, which makes the most powerful Koenigsegg ever made, it's adapted with an improved aerodynamics. Price and official specs haven't been released yet, but it's sure that they will have both incredible numbers!

Koenigsegg Agera BLT revealed

The hypercars and supercars factories such as Pagani and Ferrari are well known for their bespoke services, where the customer can give free rein to its imagination to build his custom dream car. Koenigsegg has now revealed their bespoke program with the introduction of their special Agera R called " BLT ". The custom Agera has been made under the specifications of a wealthy chinese customer, and this is the final result.

It's always awesome to hear a noisy supercar accelerating through a tunnel. It's an even more awesome sight  if you have the opportunity to hear the Koenigsegg Agera R blasting in the famous tunnel of Montecarlo!

Action drive in the Koenigsegg Agera!

Content of today is an impressive onboard video taken by Raphael Belly with a black Koenigsegg Agera driving around the beautiful streets in Monaco on the coast. The car has been displaied in the 2012 Top Marques Monaco supercar show, and spotted on the road by a few lucky spotters on the road the night after the end of the show.

Koenigsegg Agera crash test

First of all, the video you're going to see is painful! Just like every car company, a necessary action to be taken is the safety crash test, so you can see if the car you want to produce is safe or not for the driver and passenger in case of collision, but most of all is important because if it doesn't respect the standard of security, it can't go on production. The video shows an expensive crash test being done on a Koenigsegg Agera.
