Lamborghini Egoista Sound!
In utter surprise, yesterday night Lamborghini has shown to the media and the participants of the 50th Anniversary Grande Giro a new concept called Egoista to celebrate half century of the brand. The name fits perfectly because it means " selfish " and just like Ferruccio Lamborghini once said " I'm going to put the engine in the back, I don't want a passenger ", the Egoista is a single seater concept with a 5.2L V10 600hp engine located in the back. The car is designed from VolksWagen Group and obviously is heavily inspired from a jet fighter and looks to be the most extreme Lamborghini ever made.

Rimac Concept One vs 458 Spider
So, what happens when you place side by side a noisy Ferrari 458 Spider and the Rimac Concept One? This croatian supercar is very particular because is the most powerful electric supercar, it produces 1088hp and an insane 3800nm, sounds (not literally) like a lot of power for a car that doesn't even make noise, how does it handle in the straight line if compared to a Prancing Horse? Just click and see the race!
Want to see more about the Concept One? Here's one more video for you taken last year at Villa D'Este in Italy. The Concept One is powered by 4 electric engines (one per wheel) and it has a top speed of 305km/h, 0-100km/h takes just 2.8s, with a full charge it has an automony of 600km. Only 88 of these will be produced with a price tag of 740.000€

The Alfa 4C is coming!
If there's a car that we are waiting with enthusiasm and impatiente, it's certainly the Alfa Romeo 4C. The concept car has been presented at Geneva Motor Show back in 2011, then the car has been displaied in several motor shows, but we've never heard about testing or official specs. Finally, we see the prototype in the wild for some testing in Turin, Italy. The debut of the final production vehicle should take place in the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, its production will be supported in the Maserati factory in Modena. This little sporty Alfa reminds me the Lotus cars, it will be light (less than 900kg) and with a little but powerful 1.7L turbo engine with 250hp, this car will be a success!
This video was taken in May while car was on display at Concorso d'Eleganza of Villa D'Este.

Rimac One in Action
Rimac Automobili has released their first teaser video about some upcoming action scenes featuring the Concept One after its monegasque debut during the 2012 Top Marques Monaco. Most of the petrolheads doesn't approve electric sport cars, mainly because they doesn't produce the typical roar of a petrol engine, but this is something very special.

The Concept One is moved by four electric engines that produces a total of 1088hp and 3800nm (!!!) of torque. These are some serious numbers that make the Concept One the fastest road production electric car ever made. And so it moves from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.8s and accelerates up to 305kph.
The Concept One has a big autonomy of 600km, if compared to the 340km of its most famous sport electric rival, the Tesla Roadster. Just 88 Concept One will be produced with a price tag of 724.000€.

Maserati retires Kubang SUV
The 2012 Beijing Motor Show took place for the last appeareance Maserati's SUV concept called Kubang. It's not a farewell, but just a wait for an improved production version of the Kubang that is expected to come in January 2014, probably during Detroit Auto Show.
Kubang is not really an exotic italian name that should be used for a company like Maserati. If you haven't apreciated the name for this concept, don't worry because the production version will get a completely new name.

Lamborghini Unica - Coming to Geneva Motor Show
3 days before the media opening to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini teases us with a video showing a misterious Lamborghini! We get to hear the noise of the car, not so much about the design of the car, we only certainly know it's called Unica. So, what could it be? Unica is an italian word that means " unique ".. a new concept car? A one-off? We just have to wait the 6th of March, at 9.00am will take place the conference at the Lamborghini stand in Geneva. Ofcourse I'll be there to take a proper video!
