Nissan GT-R does 7.30m at Nürburgring

The Nürburgring is one of the most challenging racetracks in the world, driving to the limit is very dangerous and a full lap in 7:30 minutes is an absolutely great lap time, and doing it during a public trackday event with other cars driving is just incredible! This quick lap has been done with a completely stock 2012 Nissan GT-R, just sit and enjoy 20.8km of speed!

GT-R in action

I always thought that the Nissan GT-R wasn't a fun car at all, but with the right conditions, it's a real pleasure to drive! A friend had the opportunity to experience a couple of laps in a 2012 Nissan GT-R driven by italian rally champion Franco Cunico. The track conditions weren't the best, but in this case with a 4WD supercar and a rally driver, the show is guaranteed!

A year of accidents at Nürburgring

The infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife has the reputation of being the most dangerous and challenging racetrack in the world. There's an high frequency of accidents on this track, and unfortunately, every year several fatal accidents occur. The following video is a compilation of the highlights of all the accidents that a german Nürburgring fanatic has caught on his camera, during the many Touristenfahrten events or race series such as VLN and RCN that he has attended in 2012.

F430 vs Veyron

Have you wondered to see a Veyron being driven fast? Most of the owners don't really push it to the limit, which is a pity since it's one of the fastest cars ever made. There's a dutch Bugatti Veyron that is quite often on automotive events and it's driven properly, the following video was taken during the " The Autumn Drive ", an event organised on a closed military to give the opportunity of supercars owners to push their cars (legally) to the limit! The video was taken inside a Ferrari F430 racing against the Veyron. Of course all we know the Veyron can humiliate the Ferrari easily, but how much faster is it with twice the power of the F430?

2013 Lamborghini SuperTrofeo revealed

During the  Lamborghini Blancpain SuperTrofeo race held in Navarra, Spain, Lamborghini has showed up the 2013 Lamborghini LP570-4 SuperTrofeo that we will see in the next year's championship.

The car is based on the current SuperTrofeo, but it features important modifications. The first thing you may notice is the look, even the racecar version had a restyling just like the 2013 Gallardo LP560-4 we have seen in Paris a couple of weeks ago. The aerodynamics has been improved and now the SuperTrofeo offers much more grip and downforce.

Even the brakes have been improved, Lamborghini has worked on a new cooling system that offers a +50% of improvement if compared to the old one, that means that now the brakes last more and you can brake more. Last but not least, we find also a slight 10kg of lightening.

The power is unchanged, it features the same 5.2L V10 engine of the LP570-4 Superleggera and produces 570hp.

Another Rally accident

It's common to see an accident during a rally event, but this one could have ended really badly. During the 2012 Saaremaa Rally held in Estonia, a Mitsubishi EVO driven by Evgeny Rogov lost the traction in the corner at 180kph by going offroad into the crowd. 10 people have been injured, one of those seriously that had to be moved to the hospital with an helicopter.

Solberg's WRC crash

This accident could have ended badly, but luckily nobody got injured. The following video shows the onboard camera and aerial shoots of Peter Solberg's crash in his Ford Fiesta WRC during the 2012 Rallye de France. The car jumps into a vineyard and stops its race by hitting an electricity pole that by miracle didn't hit the crowd that was standing very close.

Lamborghini Nova

Just a couple of days before the media day of the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini has released a teaser video to something very interesting. Even in this motor show, the brand will attract the attention of journalists and petrolheads, because there's something new coming soon. The last, extreme Gallardo " Nova ", or a concept about its replacement?

Jaguar F-Type Convertible

7 days before its debut to the important Paris Motor Show, Jaguar has released the official pics and infos about the upcoming Jaguar F-Type Convertible.

The baby sporty Jag will be available with different engines, such as the supercharged 3.0L V6 with 375hp and 460. The entry level will feature a 3.0L V6 with 340hp, then we will see the hardcore F-Type R version with a massive 5.0L supercharged V8 with 510hp. Debut of the Coupè version will probably take place in 2013 during Geneva Motor Show.

599 GTO in action

There are many automotive rallies, the most famous might be the Gumball 3000, but there's always something in common between these events, and it's the show off for the crowd with noisy supercars. This Ferrari 599 GTO wrapped in a very bright green has been filmed while burning some rubber and revving during rally " The Challenge 2012 ". Too bad this guy almost hit a few photographers while performing a launch and drives like a crazy, forgetting that he's in the city centre of a huge city like Paris.

Ulrich Bez revs the new Vanquish

That's sure V12 Astons always sounds amazing. During the american debut of the new Aston Martin Vanquish at Pebble Beach, Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin gives a pleasant opportunity to a lucky crowd to hear this fantastic turquoise Vanquish. The sound coming from the 6.0L V12 engine is pure music, expecially because the engine was cold, not very good to be honest, but the boss in person was revving it so you can't blame him, just click and enjoy the soundtrack.

Hypercar Rev Battle

2012 Wilton House event is over, and the first videos are showing up on YouTube. Friend of mine Munch997 has filmed the epic moment of the event that featured a rev battle involving the most rare and loud hypercars, such as the Lamborghini Aventador with NLB exhaust, Bugatti Veyron with Quicksilver exhaust, decatted Ferrari Enzo, decatted Pagani Zonda F and the Koenigsegg Agera. Now it's time to turn up the volume and enjoy the music.

Drifting car hits a TV reporter

An impressive accident took place during the 2012 Auto Exotica show in Moscow. A tv reporter was recording very close to the road while a car was drifting in the background. The BMW did a wide drift and hit the journalist by dropping it to the ground. He was sent to the hospital and medics diagnosed him a concussion.

Dodgeball Supercar Rally 2012

Friend of mine Shmee150 took a video to the start in London to the 2012 edition of the Dodgeball Supercar Rally, sure it's gonna be awesome since they will stop also in Italy where I will wait for them. Many cars are attending the event such as the Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron and even a Koenigsegg Agera R and looks like they love to make alot of noise.



Unfortunately the Agera didn't attended the start and joined the event later, here a picture.

Crazy guy's reaction to the Veyron

I've just stumbled upon a video from the year's Gumball 3000; the Bugatti Veyron doens't attracts for its sound but more for its incredible power and performance. When you see one of these it's produces for sure a feeling of excitement, but this guy in the crowd can't hold his emotions infront of the 1001hp, with a priceless reaction caught on video! Warning: turn down the volume!

Live: Aston Martin Project AM310

Just a few days before the public opening to the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, some pics have sprung on internet about the new Aston Martin Project AM310. We believe it's gonna be the successor to the DBS, it even produces 55hp more, for a total output of 565hp in the 6.0L V12 engine. Actually, it's the only info available for the car, we just have to wait for the official release of Aston Martin. Just like every Aston Martin, even this one looks simply fantastic, looks like the designers wanted to mix the look DBS and the One-77 together, the result is brilliant, don't you think so?

Lamborghini Unica - Coming to Geneva Motor Show

3 days before the media opening to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini teases us with a video showing a misterious Lamborghini! We get to hear the noise of the car, not so much about the design of the car, we only certainly know it's called Unica. So, what could it be? Unica is an italian word that means " unique ".. a new concept car? A one-off? We just have to wait the 6th of March, at 9.00am will take place the conference at the Lamborghini stand in Geneva. Ofcourse I'll be there to take a proper video!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what we have been waiting for a long time, the successor of the Ferrari 599, the F12 Berlinetta! It's always exciting and amazing when Ferrari releases a new car, after 6 years it's time to replace the gran turismo 599.
